Tour Sri Lanka

A country rich in culture and heritage you’ll be sure to receive a warm welcome upon arrival.  Sri Lanka is an island country in the northern Indian Ocean off the southern coast of the Indian subcontinent in South Asia. Its official capital, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, also known as Kotte, is a suburb of Colombo and the main administrative district whereas Colombo is its commercial capital. Friendly locals, warm weather and plenty to do and see in between fixtures awaits you making Sri Lanka an ideal option for your next sports tour.

Colombo

Colombo, like many capital cities in developing countries is changing its face. Almost overnight skyscrapers are rising from where old buildings once stood, yet the old world charm is still retained in parts. The 100 year old clock tower, British and Dutch built buildings are still seen around the city and bargains can still be found at the Pettah Bazaar.

Kandy

Kandy was the last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings. It retains an aura of grandeur, which time has not affected. Encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its centre, it is the site of the renowned “Temple of the Tooth” and the Royal Botanical gardens home to one of the best collections of Orchids. Kandy and its satellite villages are the centre of the islands handicraft industry and its traditional dances are the most spectacular in the country.

Hikkaduwa is one of the most popular resort areas in the south boasting excellent beaches, fantastic underwater coral and rare tropical fish. Perfect for snorkeling or taking a glass bottomed boat ride.
